SONM is offering general-purpose computing cloud-like services (IaaS, PaaS) based on fog computing as a backend. Computing power suppliers (hosts) all over the world can contribute their computing power to SONM marketplace.

Hardware suppliers are people and companies, that have computational resources and would like to either start making revenue from resources or to increase revenue from existing resource usage activities. SONM utilizes all modern PC resources (CPU, RAM, GPU, disks and network), allowing suppliers to rent out computing instances on SONM marketplace.

SONM Customers (consumers, clients, buyers) are people and companies, that have a demand of computing powers – hardware PCs, servers or virtual machines of different kind. Customers define what resources and capabilities are required and what price is acceptable for them on the global decentralized marketplace of SONM.
